Dr. Martin Luther King said "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter". With this in mind, we will head to the General Assembly in Richmond on January 27 for Clean Water Day. There we will join Chesapeake Bay Foundation and other environmental friends and mentors to speak up about the importance of our waterways and land. We will speak for ourselves and for those creatures who don't have a voice. Afterall, our health, our economy and the pleasures that become treasured memories all depend on clean water.
You, too, can add your voice! Call, email, reach out through social media to your representatives and tell them to support legislation that results in good environmental practices! Our voices matter--for ourselves and for generations that follow. To find your representatives, click here.
