We are jumping for joy to be recipients of a 2025 Chesapeake Oyster Alliance Innovation Award grant! This grant will support the Culinary Oyster Vocational Experience (COVE), a "Bay-to-Plate" educational program for culinary students at New Horizons Career & Technical Education Center.
The project is designed to enhance these aspiring chefs to appreciate oysters as a valuable, nutritious, all-season food as well as an iconic keystone species.
