CHEERS to a month-long celebration of our mighty OYSTER!
We got the party rolling by teaming up with Chesapeake Bay Foundation for a Media Event that showcased the renaissance of Hampton's oysters. Thank you to all the news outlets, writers, educators and community stakeholders who attended to help celebrate and raise awareness of our beloved bivalve. Oh, and we also got to eat some delicious Virginia oysters!
The Shored Up Oysters got to be celebrities again when their cage was pulled up during a tour for the Virginia Welcome Center Managers!
Now we are excitedly planning the BIG SHELLabration! To really have a good party, we need YOU! Please join us on Saturday November 19th, Noon-4 p.m. for a "spat-tacular" celebration!
